Toni Braxton To Headline In Brazil

Grammy award singer Toni Braxton is at hard work gearing up for her Atlantic Records return, scheduled to drop in November. The songstress is currently preparing for a summer promotional tour in support of her upcoming project. So far, shows have been set up in Biloxi, Mississippi and Montego Bay, Jamaica for Reggae Sumfest 2009 (Neyo, Keri Hilson, Nas, & Jazmine Sullivan.)

Recently it was announced that the singer will do a series of 5 concerts in Brazil including stops in: Rio, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Sao Paulo. Braxton said she is very anxious to return to Brazil. The former Vegas headliner hasn't performed in Brazil since her 2000 album, "The Heat."

"Brazil is one of my favorite places to visit. I love everything from the people, the food, the beaches, so when I'm there I feel right at home."

Brazil dates confirmed so far are: Rio: August 12th and Sao Paulo: August 17th & August 18th. For information on her August 12th show in Rio click here. Details on the other cities will be announced at a later date.

I agree I was born and raised in Hawaii my dad is Hawaiian & my mom is Puerto Rican so I know first hand how many Toni Braxton fans are in Hawaii & of course in the Philippines!

I wish she would grace the beautiful island of Puerto Rico with a concert because all of my family that lives there LOVES Toni I mean she has such a wonderful gift & it really should be shared all around the globe for as long as she is on this Earth and is able to give herself to her fans for a night or two!
